Diary of a bad writer – Week 28

Diary of a bad writer bannerApril 16th, noon:  – During my lunch hour at work, I decided to work on the prologue for my science fiction novel. I’ve made several changes but I’m still looking for a better introduction.

Even If

It will become clear as I write. – The key is to write.

Wise words. And I don’t see any problem of the introduction is the last part you write. Maybe it’s even a good thing.

Jealous of your ability to focus. Whenever I try to write at work, 30 minutes will have flown by and I’ve barely organized my thoughts. Kudos!

Sounds like you made good use of your lunch hour. Keep writing, you’ll figure out which parts you’re not so keen on and firm them up as you revise it. Good luck! 🙂

For sure. As a friend said recently, we write to discover what we think.

Best of luck with it! I’m sure it will come to you when you least expect it (or you have no where to write it down–that’s what seems to happen to me) 😁

That’s always the way. I use a dictation app on my phone for those situations. Thanks for the comment. Oh, and congrats on your WIP in the hands of a proof reader. 👍

Yep, just write on and the opening lines might just show themselves along the way!
