According to the creator, Okoto, “Mystery Blogger Award” is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. These blogs are not only captivating; they inspire and motivate. They are some of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging, and they do it with so much love and passion.
I really hope my blog inspires and motivates. One thing is for sure, I find blogging enjoyable, so I put as much love and passion into it as I can. 🤗
Getting on with the nomination, I’ll answer some questions Annie prepared for me and the other nominees. I answer these because followers will get to know more about me and increase awareness that I am here! Sharing is networking, as people from all over the world stop, read and follow. What is the single thing about blogging you value the most? I value the ability to publish anything I wish. It could be a story, muse, or rant. Whatever I post, it’s my creation or opinion. While most of my posts are Safe For Work, I will give notice if it’s Not. That gives you the choice of reading or skipping without compromising my creativity.
What episode or aspect of your life would you be most eager to do over, if you could? I would go back into the late 1970s and change my mothers view of health care. The idea of saving money by visiting the doctor only when there is an obvious problem cost her life to breast cancer. Regular mammograms could have detected the problem before it became fatal.
What brings you the greatest personal satisfaction? Helping someone with technology so they don’t have to ask for help with the same issue every day. You know the questions. How do I get wifi? How do I download an app? How do I turn on Bluetooth? I think I mentioned a time when someone asked me for the hundredth time how to get on the company’s wifi and I made him wait. He waited more than an hour instead of learning from me how to manage himself. 🤦
What instrument best describes your personality, and why? I don’t know. Take a quiz with me to find out. It is a long quiz, but this is what I found out – Bass Guitar! Here are the details:
Congratulations! You got the bass guitar! Like a deep, warm sound of bass, you warm other people’s hearts. Your friends love your sense of humor, and in many situations, your jokes have calmed them down and saved the day for everybody. Playing bass gives you an opportunity to just sit down, relax, and have ‘no treble.’ 🙂 It’s a match! You prefer to stay out of trouble too and enjoy life as it comes! Like, without a bass line in the music, life wouldn’t be the same for people around you. And for you, it wouldn’t be the same if you couldn’t enjoy the richness of amber-gold whiskey once in a while.
If you could perform a single act that you felt would contribute to world peace, what would it be? I would put a cap on the amount of wealth anyone could have. A billionaire 5 times over does not need that much money to survive or care for future offspring. All excess monies should go to the top charities that make a difference. I don’t think we would have time to fight if everyone was busy working on ways to make the wealth of the world equal for everyone.
At the end of the answers, I’m supposed to select more nominees and provide questions for them. I’ve stopped doing that because I don’t want to pressure anyone to respond to the award(s). It is a lot of work responding. So I’m making my own tradition by selecting a blog that deserves a mention… and a look at.

Fascinating answers.
I know people who refuse to some specific things because they know it’s someone else’s “job”. Quite annoying if you ask me.

It stops being fun when it turns into a job. I’m just as busy as everyone but I take the time to respond when I can.

I totally understand and agree. I might not know everything, but I first try to figure things out on my own and only then call for help. And you know what I do then? I hang around to learn, instead of walking away and returning once fixed. But that’s just me.

I enjoyed reading your answers, but I’m so sorry about your mother. 🌷 I think there’s more impetus on, and awareness about, the importance of regular checks these days.
Interesting answer on the satisfaction thing – it’s the same with me and my mother with me trying to get her to learn the basics on her phone. She’d keep asking rather than learning herself, but she also wouldn’t trust herself enough to try it without me saying so. Now, she does!
Bass guitar, eh. I’ve never thought of personalities in terms of instruments before!

My emphasis is on finding common ground among us humans, so I do stress dialogue. But after many years as a professional writer given assignments, I revel in the freedom of following my curiosity wherever it leads me.
