I’m on 3rd base. Time to knock this one out of the park! I’m so happy to say that I’m responding to my 3rd Sunshine Blogger award. K. Alice Compeau nominated me in May 2019. I’m just getting around to giving her thanks but alas, she took her blog down. 😢 So, I will acknowledge her by giving her novel “Easy Love” a shout out. It can be found on the big giant Amazon.
As you may know, I stopped tagging bloggers for awards. What I will do is give a mention to any blog (s) that I enjoy and answer any questions given to me from the nominator. So let’s start with the questions K. Alice Compeau had for me. Lightning round now!
Dogs or Cats? – Dogs! (but cats too)
Savory or Sweet? – Savory all the way!
Beach or Forest? – Beach! ( it has less creepy crawlers )
How do you like to relax? – I tell my Amazon Echo “play ocean sounds.” That relaxes me with a glass of Chardonnay.
What is your biggest fear? – Not to be able to care for myself, or have to rely on someone else when I’m older. At 89 years of age, I see that fear in my dad’s eyes every day. At least he has me.
What inspires you? – The support that everyone gives me on my blog, and I received my first letter of acceptance of a short story. Yeah! I got a story published in the July issue of The World Of Myth Magazine. How’s that for inspiration? 😊
What is your favorite book? – I don’t have one particular favorite so I’ll select Alien III: An Original Audible Drama, by William Gibson. If you are familiar with the movie franchise this fan fiction picks up where the second movie ends. A ship on its return journey from LV-426 picks up the crew’s survivors Ripley, Hicks, Newt, and Bishop, but they are not alone…
What do you think makes a good story? – From the comments of my last story “Person Or Parties Unknown,” I’d say description and dialogue make the story. The comments were very helpful so I’ve decided to write a follow up to the story and try to get it published before I post it on my blog. 😎
