Saturday, February 1st – I took a look at some of my old unfinished fiction. I wonder when I will have the time to complete those stories. The thing is, I have new ideas I’d like to write before I forget them. I think the best thing to do is to pen those new ideas as they come. If I experience writing block, I’ll grab some of my unfinished fiction…and finish.
By using time wisely, there is always a way to get some writing done.
Stay Inspired, Keep Writing
Oh! I have so many – I itch to finish 😄

I’d agree, follow where your current thoughts are leading you. I’d find it quite hard to go back to fiction I’d left off a while ago. I sometimes find it challenging just to go back to half completed blog posts, too! It’s great you have so many ideas though, you’re imagination & energy to write is inspiring, Darnell. x

I get what you’re saying. I have 2 books from the 1990s I need to edit & publish. Maybe this year…

Maybe…at least take a look at your writing style at that time compared to now. I bet it’s must different.

I’d o it the same way – focus on what’s fresh in your head.
However, make sure to jot down some notes if something for your old stuff comes to mind so you don;t forget when you sit down to it.

I echo the previous comment: it’s always handy to have something to pull out from the bottom drawer. In my case it’s some of the characters from my previous novels who really want another outing. ‘One day’, I say.
But for new ideas – seize the day!

I know a writer who literally has what he calls a “writer’s chest” and he puts anymore more then a page long into his chest and when he gets stumped or blocked,he pulls out an unfisnished piece and writes.

Yes, that keeps the creative flow going… even when ideas don’t. 🤗
