July 23rd, 6:00pm – Its been a long day at work today. I’m tired but will try to get some writing in, even if it’s just a paragraph. I just have to get started, then I’ll be fine… Why?
I recognize I write for the love of writing. One or two sentences is a start.
It all adds up.

The days when your brain already feels exhausted and unwilling to cooperate are the hardest to write. I’m glad you push yourself to start even on those days. Take it one day at a time! Like you said, it all adds up!!

That must be why I think everything I write is garbage. I HATE TO WRITE.
I’ve heard that several famous writers also hated to write…and thought everything they wrote was crap. Must be a “writer” thing. 🥴

I started writing because it was cathartic. I had been emotionally murdered and I just wrote about the aftermath.
Then I started writing stories…dark and twisty stories.
Maybe it was the catalyst for writing my book. But, as I said…I hate it. 🥴

I read somewhere that Stephen King thought everything he wrote was “crap.” That might have been before he became famous. 🥴
