My 3rd installment of the Yum-Yum series has been published in The World Of Myth Magazine.
The September 2022 issue has the return of the Twilight Crusaders, hunters of the paranormal. In this chapter, Amy Sweet, owner of Sweets Bakery ( and a crusader ) has been served by prosecutor Mateo Jordan. Mateo, who happens to be a vampire, wants revenge on all the crusaders that killed his brother Franklin, who was a vampire also. This fantasy humor has the return of Maisey, the ukulele-playing homeless woman, Sallie Ann, the young vampire slayer, and Yum-Yum, the golden labrador retriever that loves chocolate chip cookies.

CongratZ on another publication. I will head on over there right now.
OK. I’m not reading the story and commenting as I go.
I like how Maisey and Amy work well together. One scans, the other mind controls. Wouldn’t the world be a happier place? (And then they also have a 3rd lady in their trio.)
The humor peppered throughout the story was on point. The bystander who missed out on the recording made me chuckle. So realistic. Then, grandma and Only Fans. And, of course, the pound for pound at the beginning and end.
I was worried about all the onlookers in the bakery, but you tied it nicely with the videos/photos, and memories being erased. I wonder if there was someone who actually was able to block it and remembers it all…
The story had good pacing – never a dull moment. We were reminded of what happened before in quite a naturally seeming manner. I am definitely waiting for the next part. Will it come out for Halloween?

Thanks for reading Goldie. I dont have another installment ready for Halloween. I was suprised the publisher took this one, since it was a recent submission…which proves you should send out your work. Someone may want to publish it.
