It’s been a while since my last post. The usual reasons for my absence you have heard before, BUT the reason for returning can’t be said enough. I miss you guys!!
I’ve missed reading my favorite blogs, hitting that “like button” and better yet…leaving a heartfelt comment on someone’s page.
Connecting with people who share similar interests encourages you to creatively cook, draw, sing, photograph, or in my case…WRITE.
Also, what encourages me to write is receiving feedback. I love to read your comments. “Darnell, that story was really good.” or”That story needed …” or The story was believable until…” The writing process is a learning process so receiving comments on how to improve my craft… I welcome.
The act of writing, and sharing thoughts and experiences is a wonderful way to have fun and be yourself. Blogging helps if you are an introvert like me. I can write, or rewrite before posting at my comfort level before anyone sees my thoughts. HOWEVER…
Right now I’m anxious to start posting again. In fact, I have a short story I’ll post tomorrow.

Good to hear from you… my planned hiatus from writing has expanded to five months with no end in sight, although I’ve started planning for season 5 of DLTDGB, and I was also working on a standalone story.
